Opis

  • Support the Executive Director with oversight and management of community operations.
  • Contribute to the community’s strategic direction and daily operations.
  • Manage senior-level administrative work across finance, payroll, human resources, and resident and team satisfaction.
  • Promote a workplace culture grounded in the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Put new regulations and procedures into practice in line with federal, state, and company standards.
  • Oversee financial records, including petty cash, receivables, payables, spend-downs, and related documents.
  • Prepare reports and compile data, delivering requested materials accurately and on schedule.
  • Meet with the Executive Director regularly to share updates on the property, operations, finances, staff, and residents.
  • Record resident and staff concerns and monitor their resolution.
  • Help prepare the annual budget and develop strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Collect rent and service fees and ensure they are deposited at the bank.
  • Respond to emergencies and take part in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Communicate with residents, families, staff, and the home office.
  • Coordinate admissions, move-ins, and move-outs.
  • Represent the community locally and maintain professional contacts in the area.
  • Assist the Senior Living Advisor with sales, tours, and follow-up on inquiries.
  • Travel to required company meetings.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding and training, retention, and performance management.
  • Process payroll corrections and maintain tracking forms and related documentation.
  • Advise on or recommend disciplinary action and dismissals.
  • Maintain personnel files and reports.
  • Report and document workplace injuries involving team members.
  • Create and coordinate staff development and recognition programs.

Zahteve

  • Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of management and supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability in operations management, team leadership, and financial oversight.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of regulations governing senior living communities.
  • Understanding of employment and labor laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, minimum wage rules, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), ADA, Fair Housing, and workers’ compensation.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency with the company’s computer programs, or the willingness and ability to learn them.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or continuing education.
  • Prior senior living experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and help others is preferred.
  • Enjoyment of working with older adults is preferred.
