Descriere

  • Provide in-person and remote support for VUSN computers, mobile devices, peripherals, software, university systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, account, application, and device problems.
  • See technical issues through to resolution, escalating when appropriate and coordinating with technology teams.
  • Support classroom and instructional technology for in-person, hybrid, and technology-enhanced teaching.
  • Resolve technology problems during classes and other academic activities.
  • Work with faculty to bring existing and emerging technologies into teaching and learning.
  • Train users and provide guidance on classroom and instructional technology.
  • Record support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Create and update technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge resources.
  • Coordinate with IT colleagues, vendors, and university partners to resolve issues and deliver services.
  • Contribute to technology projects, deployments, upgrades, and related initiatives.
  • Spot recurring issues and recommend improvements, prevention measures, or process changes.
  • Report administratively and functionally to VUSN’s Associate Director of Information Technology.

Cerințe

  • An associate degree is required.
  • At least two years of IT industry experience is required.
  • At least one year of experience with A/V technology is preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Well organized.
  • Able to work with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
