Senior Lloyd's Market Technical Operations Manager — UK Remote

Lead Lloyd’s market processing, controls, reconciliations, and servicing for Augment Risk. Support global capital risk solutions across placements, contracts, premiums, claims, and bordereaux.

Descriere

  • Act as Augment Risk’s subject-matter expert on Lloyd’s market processing, including UMRs, premium and claims transactions, market messaging, bureau practices, and related controls.
  • Assess new Lloyd’s placements for operational readiness, identifying data gaps, incomplete documentation, dependencies, and execution risks.
  • Coordinate the accurate setup and ongoing servicing of Lloyd’s contracts, endorsements, premium movements, claims movements, and bordereaux.
  • Work with broking, Client Solutions, Wordings, Legal and Compliance, Technical Accounting, and external market participants to resolve exceptions.
  • Own reconciliations, exception management, and root-cause analysis for Lloyd’s operational breaks.
  • Lead operational issues through to resolution.
  • Develop process standards, checklists, controls, and training that embed Lloyd’s expertise throughout the organization.
  • Advise leadership on the Lloyd’s operational impact of new products, client structures, delegated authorities, and system changes.
  • Help design scalable, automation-ready workflows and data requirements while preserving market and regulatory discipline.
  • Maintain the operational integrity of Lloyd’s business throughout the placement and servicing lifecycle.
  • Ensure data, documentation, identifiers, processing steps, and financial flows are complete, accurate, and aligned with Lloyd’s market requirements.

Cerințe

  • At least seven years of hands-on Lloyd’s market operations experience with a broker, managing agent, coverholder, insurer, or specialist service provider.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lloyd’s processing and servicing workflows, including UMR administration, premium and claims movements, bordereaux, and settlement or reconciliation practices.
  • Strong understanding of operational controls, documentation standards, and the practical connections among broker, carrier, managing agent, and market processes.
  • Ability to investigate exceptions, separate root causes from symptoms, and lead resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Clear written communication skills and a pragmatic, service-oriented working style.
  • Preferred: experience across both broker-side and market-side operations.
  • Preferred: experience with delegated authority, binders, specialty reinsurance, or complex international programs.
  • Preferred: exposure to process automation, workflow design, data quality, or system implementation.
