People & Culture Partner (HRBP) – Tokyo Hybrid
Support Warner Bros. Discovery’s Tokyo studio workforce as a People & Culture Partner and HR Business Partner. Advise leaders and employees on employee relations, performance, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

- Work with People & Culture colleagues and business leaders to resolve employee relations, performance, conflict, coaching, development, retention, and compliance matters
- Advise, coach, counsel, and train managers and employees proactively
- Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and safe workplace
- Interpret and help implement People & Culture policies, practices, and procedures
- Align People & Culture activities with business priorities, company values, and applicable requirements
- Develop collaborative partnerships with Talent Acquisition, Employee Connections, Total Rewards, and Business Managers across Japan, APAC, the UK, the US, and other markets
- Turn data, metrics, and visualizations into insights, presentations, charts, and decision-support materials
- Lead and contribute to People & Culture initiatives and special projects
- Prioritize and deliver across multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
Prasības
- Substantial human resources experience with hands-on expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and advising managers and employees
- Working knowledge of Japanese labor law and compliance
- Strong critical thinking, judgment, and business advisory capabilities
- Ability to balance organizational and employee needs
- Native-level Japanese communication skills
- Business-level English communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Experience in a complex multinational or global matrix organization
- Preferred: Experience supporting a diverse workforce or working in retail, customer service, or another large-workforce environment
