Temporary Remote Recruiter

Manage high-volume hiring for 40–50 research, analytics, and program roles at Child Trends over the coming months. Improve ADP recruiting workflows while coordinating screening, interviews, outreach, and compliance.

  • Recruit for 40–50 openings, mainly in research, analytics, and programs, over the coming months
  • Screen large applicant volumes with structured scorecards and questions
  • Conduct structured phone screens and reference checks using approved questions
  • Track candidate progress and outcomes, and keep applicants informed
  • Improve ADP applicant tracking workflows for requisition intake, communications, scheduling, and status updates
  • Refine templates, automated messages, and dashboards to reduce manual work
  • Recommend and implement scalable recruiting tools, documenting processes for future use
  • Lead hiring manager kickoffs to confirm role requirements, interview panels, and timelines
  • Coordinate interview schedules, reminders, and feedback deadlines
  • Provide weekly updates on pipeline health, time to fill, and stalled searches
  • Publish openings on the company website and job boards with compliant pay ranges and language
  • Conduct targeted outreach through universities, professional associations, and organizations serving veterans and people with disabilities
  • Identify job requirements that could unnecessarily limit the applicant pool
  • Comply with federal and state rules for job postings, pay transparency, applicant records and retention, Section 503, and VEVRAA
  • Maintain complete candidate records and raise potential compliance concerns with HR
  • Prepare offer letters for review in line with pay guidance
  • Transfer accepted candidates to HR for onboarding

Reikalavimai

  • Bring at least 4–6 years of recruiting experience, including high-volume hiring
  • Have experience leading recruiting with ADP Workforce Now
  • Have experience configuring or improving applicant tracking systems
  • Be comfortable using Excel or reporting tools to track and present hiring metrics
  • Have federal contractor experience
  • Have working knowledge of EEO requirements, state pay transparency rules, and AI laws
  • Communicate clearly in writing and use sound judgment with confidential information
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Recruiting experience in academic or research settings is preferred
  • Experience with workflow automation or scheduling tools is a plus
  • A background check may be required at hire, with employment contingent on its results
