Senior Ecommerce Design Team Lead - Colombia Remote
Lead Hustler Marketing’s ecommerce design function across email, SMS, advertising, GIF, and short-form video creative. Review output, coordinate workloads, mentor designers, and maintain consistent client-facing quality.

- Lead the Design Team’s daily operations while balancing quality standards with team coordination
- Review creative before delivery to Account Managers or clients and give clear, actionable feedback
- Assess hierarchy, contrast, calls to action, image-to-text balance, and mobile performance issues
- Guide Account Managers on visual campaign needs and challenge incomplete briefs
- Create design assets directly when workload demands it
- Maintain consistent creative across client brands, industries, and visual systems
- Define and enforce standards for email and SMS campaigns, advertisements, GIFs, and short-form video
- Advise on client brand identity, creative concepts, refinements, and optimisation opportunities
- Plan and assign the weekly workload based on Account Manager requests
- Resequence the queue when priorities shift, team members are unavailable, or urgent client work arrives
- Track capacity and redistribute assignments to help prevent missed deadlines
- Serve as the initial escalation point for design blockers
- Ensure client-account design objectives are delivered
- Lead group meetings and hold recurring one-to-one sessions
- Gather team feedback, resolve concerns, and communicate outcomes
- Coach designers and help develop their capabilities
- Onboard new members of the design team
- Connect Design with other service teams through workshops, tutorials, and documentation
- Deliver training and practical skill-development sessions
- Find and improve inefficient workflows, handoffs, and communication practices
- Create and maintain team documentation
- Review Figma updates and incorporate valuable features into team processes
- Follow design and email-marketing trends and share relevant insights
- Present industry best practices to the Service Director and wider team
- Handle projects and initiatives assigned by the Service Director
- Report to the Service Director while working with Account Managers and other Hustler Marketing teams

- At least five years of graphic design experience, including three or more years focused on email marketing design
- Advanced Figma expertise, including creating and using component libraries
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity
- Experience creating advertising graphics, animated GIFs, and short video edits
- A portfolio demonstrating effective, on-brand work across multiple clients, stores, and industries
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating designers
- Ability to assess creative work and provide precise, actionable written feedback
- Ability to assign and reprioritise a team’s weekly workload, including with limited notice
- Basic familiarity with web design and landing pages is advantageous
- Experience with Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform is advantageous
- Comfort using Slack, Asana, Hubstaff, Google Workspace, and Figma
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Prior remote-work experience, preferably within a distributed, multi-time-zone team
- Availability and responsiveness Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM Barcelona time
- Capacity to work consistently 30 to 35 hours per week, equivalent to 140 hours per month
- Reliable internet access, a laptop or PC, and the ability to participate in video calls
- Commitment to full-time work
- Contractor engagement after signing a non-disclosure agreement
- Exclusivity agreement prohibiting similar work elsewhere during the engagement with Hustler Marketing
