Senior IT Support Technician - Chandler, AZ (Onsite)

Provide senior-level IT support for Comtech Telecommunications Corp.’s corporate technology environment in Chandler. Oversee endpoints, user access, deployments, escalations, vendor coordination, and enterprise IT initiatives.

Description

  • Act as the first escalation point for hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues
  • Configure, maintain, and improve corporate desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and related systems
  • Administer user accounts, access controls, and software licenses in support of security and compliance
  • Coordinate hardware and software deployments from purchasing through training and documentation
  • Partner with teams across the organization on upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations
  • Create and update guidance covering recurring issues, system configurations, and support practices
  • Provide training for junior technicians and end users
  • Support IT asset tracking and work with external vendors on purchasing, repairs, and technical support
  • Coordinate with vendors to establish and oversee recurring label-printer maintenance
  • Take part in a monthly on-call rotation

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or systems administration in a medium-to-large corporate setting
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise networking fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
  • Hands-on experience with remote management tools
  • Demonstrated success solving complex, multi-layered technical problems under pressure
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical colleagues
  • Comfort working independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience imaging, configuring, deploying, and repairing desktop and laptop PCs
  • Experience supporting remote users through Teams and remote management software
  • Application support experience, including Office 365 installation, repair, and updates
  • Experience installing, repairing, and updating Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • Familiarity with Linux environments
  • Experience supporting Active Directory organizational units, user requests, and password troubleshooting or changes
  • Experience setting up, deploying, and repairing local and network printers
  • Experience procuring, configuring, and deploying iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Experience procuring, configuring, designing files for, maintaining, and renewing service agreements for label printers
  • Basic understanding of network connectivity, including patch cables, data-port activation, cross-connects, and wireless links
  • Experience managing IT hardware inventories, decommissioning equipment, and arranging disposal
  • Experience assigning and activating RSA, MFA, and DUP hardware and software token accounts
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator certification is a significant advantage
