Remote Benefits Call Center Representative – Virginia

Description

  • Handle a steady flow of inbound calls.
  • Explain benefit programs, eligibility rules, enrollment options, and coverage details.
  • Research participant questions across multiple systems and resources, and resolve them.
  • Check eligibility and help participants understand available benefit resources.
  • Record interactions accurately and maintain detailed notes on requests and case activity.
  • Work with teammates and internal partners to resolve benefit concerns.
  • Assist participants with empathy and professionalism as they make informed benefits decisions.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Have strong organizational skills.
  • Have excellent time management skills.
  • Bring a strong customer service mindset, communicate clearly and professionally, and follow instructions accurately.
  • Pass an internet speed test with download speeds of at least 25 Mbps, upload speeds of at least 5 Mbps, and ping of 175 ms or less.
  • Be able to connect to a modem or router using an Ethernet cable.
  • Reside in Virginia.
  • Reside in a state where the compensation structure complies with applicable wage regulations.
  • Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
