Regional Sales Account Executive - Fleet Services (Remote)

Lead fleet-services sales across Pennsylvania and New Jersey for Cox Automotive. Build enterprise relationships, close complex opportunities, and develop $5–10 million in new business.

Description

  • Generate new business throughout the assigned territory and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Meet or surpass annual sales goals for fleet-management solutions and related services.
  • Create and implement sales plans that expand the customer base and support entry into new markets.
  • Manage complex sales processes through consultative and Challenger-based selling.
  • Establish executive relationships and help customers address challenging fleet-management needs.
  • Assess each customer’s operations, pain points, and business priorities.
  • Create customized proposals and presentations that clearly explain solution value.
  • Keep the sales pipeline current in Salesforce or comparable CRM systems and deliver dependable forecasts.
  • Provide perspective on industry developments, market changes, and emerging fleet-management issues.
  • Compile and present customer reports based on gathered and analyzed data.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver consistent customer experiences and support lasting account growth.
  • Lead $5–10 million in new-business development and manage accounts until they transfer to account management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of a master’s degree with up to two years, a Ph.D. with up to one year, or at least eight years of relevant industry experience.
  • Current driver’s license and a strong driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively—up to 80%—across multimarket and multistate territories.
  • Experience selling into trucking or fleet-management organizations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, win new business, and expand existing accounts is preferred.
  • Strong communication, customer-service, and relationship-development abilities are preferred.
  • Familiarity with effective sales and marketing practices is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
  • Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without present or future sponsorship.
