HR Systems Analyst – Workday and Dayforce | Aliaxis

Support and improve Workday, Dayforce, and other HR platforms for IPEX’s thermoplastic piping business. The role covers integrations, testing, data governance, issue resolution, and ongoing HR technology enhancement.

Description

  • Provide primary support for Workday and other HR technologies, resolving complex issues and advising HR teams, managers, and employees.
  • Administer HR technology platforms to maintain their stability, security, functionality, and performance.
  • Investigate incidents, determine root causes, coordinate resolutions, and work with internal specialists and vendors on escalated issues.
  • Manage organizational and position data, job requisitions, employee records, reporting, and workforce transactions.
  • Monitor data quality, perform audits, strengthen governance practices, and protect system integrity.
  • Test releases, enhancements, integrations, and configuration changes through UAT and regression testing.
  • Work with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and People Analytics to define requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Assess new Workday capabilities and emerging HR technologies, recommending improvements to processes and user experience.
  • Contribute to implementations, upgrades, integrations, deployment planning, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Create training resources, knowledge articles, process documentation, and standard operating procedures while supporting change initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of progressive experience supporting HRIS, HR technology, payroll systems, or enterprise business applications.
  • Practical Workday experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Dayforce, Paradox, or similar HR platforms is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, compensation, organizational structures, and workforce data management.
  • Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing programs, and change management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, data interpretation, trend analysis, and solution-development abilities.
  • Experience leading stakeholder discussions, gathering business requirements, and documenting process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Workday Pro Certification and a CHRP designation are strong assets.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and process excellence.
  • Effective relationship-building skills across HR, IT, and business teams.
  • Continuous-improvement mindset with an interest in automation and technology innovation.
  • Strong capabilities in problem solving, risk evaluation, impact assessment, and recommendation development.
