Field Service Technician – Diebold Nixdorf – Remote, United States
Maintain and support Diebold Nixdorf banking and retail hardware and software across an assigned territory. Troubleshoot, repair, install, and configure customer systems while providing user training.
Description
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer sites.
- Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance throughout the assigned territory.
- Verify product operation, resolve faults, and escalate issues in line with established procedures.
- Coordinate service appointments and complete the required documentation.
- Apply diagnostic tools to identify hardware and software failures.
- Repair hardware components and adjust mechanical parts as needed.
- Configure and install relevant software.
- Replenish consumable supplies as instructed.
- Install, relocate, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products.
- Train customers in the use and operation of installed hardware and software.
- Take part in training, KPI programs, and special projects.
Requirements
- Required education or equivalent professional experience.
- One to two years of relevant field services experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and driving record meeting Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements.
