Contract Estate Planning and Document Attorney
Provide estate planning services for Vertis Wealth clients by preparing trusts, wills, and related documents. Meet clients virtually or in person and collaborate with tax and financial professionals.
Description
- Coordinate with Legal Directors on estate planning client matters
- Meet clients virtually or in person to confirm their estate planning needs
- Prepare revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, and LLC documents
- Draft estate planning documents using established templates or independent methods
- Keep current with applicable state laws
- Collaborate with Legal Directors and tax, business, financial, and other professionals
- Support an established client base serving households with average assets of $1 million to $10 million
Requirements
- Hold a license to practice law in the posted state
- Entry-level attorneys may be considered
- Conduct client meetings virtually
- Meet clients in person to oversee document execution
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bring an innovative and creative approach to legal work
- Lead initiatives and make decisive judgments
- Manage time and organize work effectively
- Collaborate with tax, business, and financial advisors to develop ideas into strategies
