Business Banking Analyst - Hybrid Canada

Support CIBC business banking clients through account servicing, onboarding validation, issue resolution and digital banking guidance. Coordinate account updates, referrals and client support through the Business Client Advice Centre.

Description

  • Support Business Banking clients and internal partners with post-sale service activities
  • Process account maintenance requests, daily service inquiries and ad hoc administrative work
  • Assess client business needs, implement solutions and provide relevant recommendations
  • Partner with internal teams to proactively address client needs
  • Review Digital Business Onboarding applications for Business Banking, Personal Banking and Imperial Service segments
  • Coordinate account information, signing authority and existing Cash Management product changes by phone, email and video conference
  • Document servicing activities accurately in the designated tools
  • Present solutions, resolve client concerns or escalate issues when appropriate
  • Assist with non-sales calling campaigns, administrative work, client outreach, initiatives, projects and AML remediation
  • Collect and verify client financial information while ensuring documentation meets CIBC policies and procedures
  • Complete due diligence before making credit recommendations or finalizing product sales
  • Recognize sales opportunities and refer them to Business Advisors or suitable internal partners
  • Promote digital banking channels, including ATM, Mobile and SmartBanking for Business
  • Report to the Team Leader, Business Banking

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of business products and services, including lending, cash management solutions, GICs and banking centre services
  • 1–2 years of experience in a professional, fast-paced sales and service environment, ideally within financial services, client service or a Client Contact Centre
  • Ability to work independently from home in a secure room or office with a closing door
  • Wired internet connection providing at least 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
  • Satellite internet service is not permitted
  • Availability for rotating Monday-to-Saturday hours aligned with client and branch schedules
  • Ability to reach the primary work location within two hours’ notice for business-related needs
  • Legal eligibility to work at the specified location or locations
  • Valid work or study permit where applicable
  • Ability to complete attribute-based assessments and other required skills tests
