Associate Client Manager — Luminare Health (Remote)

Luminare Health is hiring a remote Associate Client Manager to oversee client relationships, renewals, and healthcare benefits accounts. The role focuses on retaining and expanding a book of business while supporting employer and broker partners.

Description

  • Oversee client relationships from implementation through issue resolution and renewal activities
  • Partner with sales executives on newly sold groups
  • Manage a book of business, generally serving groups with fewer than 300 employees
  • Build senior-level relationships with client benefits, human resources, and finance contacts, as well as assigned brokers
  • Contribute to internal projects that support clients and the client management organization
  • Retain and expand the assigned book of business
  • Sustain strong levels of client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Client Coordinators, Sales, Account Management partners, and brokers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus two years of client management experience, or comparable experience in a third-party administrator or insurance setting involving client-facing or client-support work
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent plus six years of industry experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Results-driven and self-motivated approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong presentation capabilities
  • Organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Insurance license preferred
  • Understanding of self-funded plans and employee benefits preferred
  • Knowledge of benefit-related federal laws, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA, preferred
  • Familiarity with stop-loss coverage is a plus
  • Remote employees must reside in the continental United States, excluding Alaska, California, Hawaii, and New York
