Senior Finance Analyst, Capital Project Cost Controller

Senior finance analyst overseeing capital project budgets for Nestlé Purina North America. The role covers cost forecasting, construction spend assurance, and financial governance.

Description

  • Manage capital project budgets, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget adjustments.
  • Audit construction progress, assure project costs, and coordinate timely closeout.
  • Include project schedules in Estimate at Completion forecasts and support earned value management.
  • Review and approve contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Work with Procurement, Legal, Tax, and other stakeholders.
  • Apply financial controls and governance in line with Capital Investment Standards, accounting policies, and change management processes.
  • Oversee inventory and warehouse compliance for Assets Under Construction, and take part in governance gates.
  • Support Nestlé Purina North America’s multi-million-dollar capital investment portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting, internal controls, budgeting, and/or variance analysis.
  • At least two years of experience with capital and/or construction projects.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
