Account Development Manager – United States Remote

Build Allucent’s pharmaceutical and biotech customer pipeline through targeted prospecting and lead generation. Partner with Business Development to support sales targets for contract research services.

Description

  • Expand market awareness and generate qualified leads to grow Allucent’s customer base.
  • Engage clients directly through telephone, email, and direct mail.
  • Support geographically aligned Business Development colleagues in achieving annual sales targets.
  • Help create and execute strategies that build lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Source new prospects and arrange meetings with organizations seeking outsourced services.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on territory plans and account ownership allocations.
  • Conduct weekly territory-outreach planning calls with assigned Business Development representatives.
  • Research prospective companies and contacts using ideal-account profiles, GlobalData, Zymewire, and news sources.
  • Assess, qualify, and analyze account opportunities within pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Find key decision-makers and present Allucent’s capabilities and differentiators to create RFP and bid opportunities.
  • Use outreach activity and outcome data to refine messaging.
  • Leverage online tools, software, databases, and social media to find and qualify leads.
  • Build territory and account strategies from account and industry profiles, pipeline information, and therapeutic content.
  • Open sales conversations, understand prospect needs, introduce relevant services, and involve Business Development in arranging in-person meetings.
  • Develop messaging campaigns with suitable contact cadence and follow-up, including informational emails and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate Business Development meeting setup with Marketing.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports to the Line Manager and Business Development executives.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of Allucent’s operational capabilities and differentiators.
  • Log all sales activity in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Degree in life sciences, healthcare, or business.
  • At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Clear understanding of clinical trial processes.
  • Basic knowledge of GxP.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, CFR, CTR, CTD, and applicable local regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.
  • Excellent prospecting and new-business identification skills with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to recognize client needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills for working with prospective client decision-makers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to turn guidelines, rules, and regulations into clear, practical recommendations.
