Senior Organisational Design Consultant

Design operating models, RACI matrices and roles for knowledge management and AI-enabled work with Miratech’s enterprise transformation clients. This part-time project engagement is part of a full-time consulting role.

Tavsif

  • Document the current organisation across tax, individual enquiries and business enquiries.
  • Map the teams, roles, reporting lines and capacity involved in creating and maintaining knowledge.
  • Identify who handles content work and estimate the time it takes.
  • Compare the current organisation with the target knowledge management operating model to identify gaps.
  • Surface capability and capacity shortfalls, unclear ownership, single points of failure and informal content work.
  • Create a named-role RACI matrix for the full content lifecycle.
  • Define the target knowledge management operating model and assess centralised, federated and hybrid approaches.
  • Develop role profiles and resourcing needs for knowledge management and AI-era positions.
  • Draft job descriptions, competencies, effort estimates and classification guidance.
  • Plan the transition and change approach, covering staffing, training, communications and risks.
  • Coordinate the governance workstream with the organisational model in collaboration with the Senior Business Consultant.

Talablar

  • At least eight years of experience in organisational design, operating model design, workforce planning or organisational effectiveness consulting.
  • A track record of delivering organisational design materials adopted by a client, such as RACI matrices, target operating models, role profiles and transition plans.
  • Experience shaping an operating model for a function spanning multiple business units with shared or disputed ownership.
  • Strong engagement skills with director-level and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to contribute effectively to a focused, part-time engagement alongside a broader consulting team.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Government of Canada security clearance.
  • Experience designing an operating model for a knowledge management, content or digital service function is preferred.
  • Contact centre or shared services operating model experience is preferred, especially where AI or automation has changed agent work and supporting roles.
  • A Prosci or CCMP change management credential, or an organisational development qualification, is preferred.
  • English and French bilingualism is preferred.
