Opis

  • Lead and develop a team of Case Managers.
  • Oversee workflow, performance, and staffing.
  • Encourage effective disability and case management practices.
  • Advise on complex claims and technical matters.
  • Review case quality and identify ways to improve continuously.
  • Build relationships with plan members and internal and external partners.
  • Advance business, service, and client outcomes.

Zahteve

  • At least 2–3 years of experience supervising or leading people.
  • Strong understanding of Group Disability claims, adjudication, and case management.
  • Fluency in both English and French is required.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, training, and developing employees.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and functional abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-focused setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in health sciences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Manulife LTD case management processes is an asset.
  • Experience managing CAF LTD claims is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Group Disability Claims is an asset.
  • Experience managing health-related absences is an asset.
  • Relevant insurance courses or professional designations are an asset.
