Bilingual Associate Manager, CAF Disability Claims
Lead and develop Case Managers handling long-term disability claims for Canadian Armed Forces veterans at Manulife. Coach the team and improve case management outcomes.

- Lead and develop a team of Case Managers.
- Oversee workflow, performance, and staffing.
- Encourage effective disability and case management practices.
- Advise on complex claims and technical matters.
- Review case quality and identify ways to improve continuously.
- Build relationships with plan members and internal and external partners.
- Advance business, service, and client outcomes.
Reikalavimai
- At least 2–3 years of experience supervising or leading people.
- Strong understanding of Group Disability claims, adjudication, and case management.
- Fluency in both English and French is required.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, training, and developing employees.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and functional abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-focused setting.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Post-secondary education, preferably in health sciences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Manulife LTD case management processes is an asset.
- Experience managing CAF LTD claims is an asset.
- Previous experience with Group Disability Claims is an asset.
- Experience managing health-related absences is an asset.
