- Lead the Group’s day-to-day finance function.
- Maintain strong financial controls, efficient operations and high-quality finance processes.
- Oversee the accuracy of the Group’s profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with commercial analysis and explanations of variances.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and financial controls.
- Improve financial reporting, controls and governance.
- Work with the CFO on reports for the Board, private equity sponsors and lenders.
- Present financial results, trends, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions, refinancing and value creation programmes.
- Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasts, liquidity and working capital improvements.
- Manage banking and debt relationships, currency and interest rate exposure, and covenant compliance.
- Lead statutory audits and oversee corporate tax, VAT, insurance and statutory compliance.
- Direct finance transformation, including ERP selection, implementation and optimisation.
- Simplify and automate finance processes, improving reporting through better systems, data quality and business intelligence.
- Work with technology and operations teams on finance systems changes.
- Coach, recruit and develop the finance team, including succession planning.
- Build a high-performing finance organisation that promotes accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Prasības
- Hold an ACA or CIMA qualification.
- Bring substantial post-qualification experience as a Finance Director, Financial Controller or senior finance leader.
- Have demonstrable ownership of the full profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Have extensive experience preparing Board materials and high-quality management reports.
- Have strong experience working directly with private equity sponsors, lenders and external stakeholders.
- Have a proven record managing treasury, banking relationships, debt facilities and covenant compliance.
- Have successfully led statutory audits and managed external auditors.
- Bring strong tax compliance and governance experience.
- Have led an ERP implementation or a major finance systems transformation.
- Have a track record of leading and developing effective finance teams.
- Have experience in media, marketing, advertising, creative or professional services.
