Description
- Turn client hiring needs into focused recruiting and sourcing plans.
- Reach prospective candidates through direct outreach, referrals, professional networks, and recruiting platforms.
- Screen applicants and evaluate their relevant experience, qualifications, and interest.
- Write candidate summaries and present qualified applicants.
- Arrange interviews, collect feedback, and keep candidates informed.
- Monitor recruiting activity and maintain up-to-date candidate records.
- Share timely updates on pipeline progress and recruiting challenges.
- Assist with reference checks, offer coordination, and placement follow-through when assigned.
- Work with AlphaGov search leads and project staff.
Requirements
- Background recruiting professional, management, leadership, or specialized talent.
- Able to engage candidates who are not actively looking for a new role.
- Strong interviewing, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
- Able to balance competing priorities and follow through with candidates and colleagues.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Government, public-sector, nonprofit, or higher-education recruiting experience is preferred.
- Executive, director-level, or hard-to-fill professional placements are preferred.
- Full-cycle recruiting and direct interaction with clients or hiring managers are preferred.
- Experience overseeing multiple searches is preferred.
- Agency and in-house recruiters, RPO professionals, independent recruiters, and executive search associates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience across every listed industry or function is not required.
