Senior Partner Manager, Massachusetts Remote

Lead VAR and regional systems-integrator partnerships to generate pipeline, support co-selling, and strengthen partner enablement. Help enterprise customers adopt Chainguard’s secure, production-ready open-source software.

Description

  • Own pipeline and revenue results sourced or influenced by assigned VARs and regional systems integrators
  • Create pipeline through joint prospecting, partner-led opportunity discovery, and co-selling with field sales teams
  • Increase partner attach rates by helping partners position Chainguard within security, cloud-native, and modernization solutions
  • Improve deal velocity and win rates through enablement, early partner involvement, and alignment with customer use cases
  • Source, recruit, and prioritize high-performing partners
  • Develop joint business plans covering pipeline goals, solution priorities, enablement milestones, and marketing programs
  • Review performance and progress through quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Advance partner readiness through certifications, solution validation, demo proficiency, and delivery confidence
  • Expand partner-generated demand through regional campaigns, events, and field activities
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and clean pipeline data in SFDC and related systems
  • Collaborate across sales, solution engineering, marketing, and partner operations

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience as a software channel manager
  • Hands-on experience working with and through VARs
  • Proven sales performance with a record of carrying and exceeding quota
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who can turn ambiguous problems into practical, executable steps
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort speaking publicly and delivering polished presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across varied groups
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Data- and metrics-oriented approach
