Senior Executive Assistant, American Red Cross — Remote

Provide confidential administrative support to American Red Cross executive leadership in a remote, full-time role. Manage calendars, travel, communications, meetings, and strategic projects across the United States.

Description

  • Deliver high-level, confidential administrative support to executive leadership
  • Prepare and summarize information for executive decision-making
  • Oversee communications and office operations
  • Represent executive or leadership teams in stakeholder meetings and interactions
  • Coordinate administrative, logistical, and human resources activities
  • Apply organizational policies and procedures to advance business objectives
  • Provide guidance and leadership to volunteers
  • Maintain the executive calendar, including meetings, appointments, travel, and field or operating-unit visits
  • Arrange travel and prepare meeting agendas
  • Support the planning and coordination of high-level meetings
  • Prepare presentations, memoranda, reports, and correspondence for executive signature or distribution on the executive’s behalf
  • Review correspondence for alignment with organizational policies and practices
  • Research operational issues and strategic initiatives, and perform related analysis
  • Coordinate special projects and consolidate results or findings from multiple departments
  • Screen and prioritize executive calls and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Coordinate office activities and communications on behalf of the executive

Requirements

  • Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • At least seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Previous experience supporting executive-level leadership
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
  • Some travel may be required
