Sales Representative, New Business - Midwest US Remote

Henkel seeks a remote Sales Representative to grow new business for its Adhesive Technologies unit across the Midwest United States. The role focuses on prospect development, distributor partnerships, CRM-based customer management, and sales growth.

Description

  • Execute growth plans and manage the sales pipeline in line with strategic business priorities.
  • Build comprehensive target-account lists and assess growth opportunities by application and location.
  • Partner with distributors to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Generate sales through lead lists, OEM opportunities, and distribution relationships.
  • Work with Henkel’s Inside Sales (Grow) team and apply relevant marketing insights.
  • Coordinate with Henkel’s Inside Sales (Protect) team to support customers in the existing territory.
  • Build expertise in the assigned markets, including key applications and relevant technologies.
  • Report progress, challenges, and support needs to management.
  • Use Henkel’s CRM systems to manage sales activities and customer-management workflows.
  • Assess competitive pressures and develop strategies to address them.

Requirements

  • Experience executing growth plans and managing sales pipelines in line with business strategy.
  • Ability to create target-account lists and evaluate growth potential by application and location.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributors and Inside Sales teams.
  • Knowledge of assigned markets, major applications, and relevant technologies, or the ability to develop that knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting progress and needs to management.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use CRM tools.
  • Ability to evaluate competitive activity and develop strategies to counter it.
