Remote Collections Account Specialist - Pitney Bowes

Remote, full-time role managing collections, billing corrections, reconciliations, and account maintenance for Pitney Bowes SendTech clients in the United States.

Description

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and collections support for high-value SendTech clients
  • Address client needs through internal and external process partners to support satisfaction
  • Resolve assigned transactions and client issues involving delinquent balances
  • Collect overdue balances across multiple business lines
  • Correct billing discrepancies while preserving account accuracy in relevant systems
  • Clean and update accounts through payment application, reconciliation, purchase order and cost center changes, billing consolidation, invoice correction, inventory updates, and quote preparation
  • Coordinate with invoicing, account maintenance, collections, and sales support teams
  • Handle client questions and service requests
  • Build effective working relationships across Pitney Bowes business units
  • Plan and complete daily work within required timeframes
  • Perform additional assigned responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least two years of client service experience
  • Previous collections, account management, or billing reconciliation experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated time-management skills
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize scheduled daily tasks, and contribute effectively within a team
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Credit review is part of the background screening
  • Availability for a scheduled 8.5-hour Monday through Friday daytime shift between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. CST
  • Ability to work remotely with suitable accommodations for a client-facing environment
