Product Designer — TeamViewer AI and IT Management (Portugal, Hybrid)
Shape end-to-end product experiences for TeamViewer’s AI and IT management offerings. Lead research, interaction design, prototyping, and collaboration with product and engineering partners.
Description
- Lead product features from initial concepts through launch.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to define problems before designing solutions.
- Plan and conduct customer interviews and usability studies with shared research tools and frameworks.
- Translate research insights into product and design decisions.
- Develop and present alternative design approaches.
- Cover complete user flows, including successful, empty, error, loading, and edge-case states.
- Contribute to and expand the design system.
- Review implementations before release and evaluate feature usage after launch.
- Use AI-powered tools to create concepts quickly for feedback.
- Take part in design critiques and team rituals.
- Support less experienced designers.
- Design capabilities for TeamViewer ONE and TeamViewer AI.
Requirements
- Strong interface and interaction design skills, with an emphasis on clear, accessible, consistent experiences across complex workflows.
- Practical experience planning and conducting customer interviews or usability studies.
- Working knowledge of discovery techniques such as interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and assumption testing.
- Ability to determine which assumption should be tested first.
- Ability to balance scope, quality, and delivery time.
- Confidence presenting design rationale to product managers and engineers.
- Interest in AI prototyping tools or a demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Experience delivering product design within a software team.
- Background in B2B, IT management, security, or another technical field is advantageous.
- Experience designing AI or agentic systems is helpful but not required.
- Comfort interpreting product analytics; experience with unmoderated testing or surveys is beneficial.
- Fluent English is required.
