Process Engineering Manager – Banking Transformation (Hybrid, Spain)
Lead process reengineering and transformation across core banking operations, driving strategic initiatives and multidisciplinary teams. Shape BPM ecosystems that combine reusable components, process intelligence, and AI agents.
Description
- Own end-to-end reengineering initiatives for core processes, raising efficiency, quality, and customer experience standards.
- Lead technology and process transformation projects across the organization.
- Assess processes using tools such as process mining.
- Redesign processes through modelling, usability definition, and customer experience design.
- Launch processes and monitor their performance.
- Define and configure a process ecosystem with reusable cross-functional components and AI agents.
- Manage cross-functional projects addressing corporate business, organizational, regulatory compliance, and transformation needs.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary technology, business, and customer experience teams.
- Convert business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience delivering process transformation projects in the financial sector, preferably involving core banking processes such as accounts, financing, and mortgages.
- Demonstrated experience directly managing and leading process transformation projects, programs, or portfolios while coordinating teams of varying sizes.
- Previous experience as a process engineer, including current-state analysis, target-process design, and production implementation.
- Experience modelling processes with BPMN 2.0 and using process management and design tools such as ARIS, Bizagi, or BPM systems.
- Experience defining functional requirements and collaborating with technology teams.
- Knowledge of project management methods such as Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall; process design methods such as Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, or Kaizen; and/or user experience approaches such as Human-Centered Design or UX Research.
- Intermediate written and spoken English.
