Operations Specialist - DSV, Tianjin

Manage freight forwarding operations in Tianjin, including shipment bookings, documentation, invoicing, and customer claims. Support DSV’s transport and logistics services through customer coordination and process compliance.

Description

  • Deliver efficient, high-quality customer service.
  • Monitor daily business activities to maintain compliance with regional guidelines and company policies and procedures.
  • Apply local SOPs when coordinating with shippers and consignees.
  • Provide charge quotations when required.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Review and verify documents against DSV standards and customer requirements.
  • Implement approved process and system improvements.
  • Book shipments in line with SOPs and approved quotations.
  • Escalate irregularities and operational issues to supervisors.
  • Provide feedback on subcontractor service quality and standards.
  • Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and claims follow-up.
  • Verify credit terms and status while coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Share claim details and status updates with customers.
  • Compile customer statistics and operational reports.
  • Prepare waybills, warehouse advice, trucking orders, invoices, and other requested documents.
  • Issue, verify, and post incoming invoices and complete job costing.
  • Maintain Track and Trace updates and send shipping advice to overseas stations.
  • Take on additional assigned duties and provide team cover when needed.
