Prefect builds workflow orchestration software for data and machine learning engineers. Its platform helps teams run Python workflows with scheduling, retries, caching, execution-environment controls, and clear operational visibility. By supporting flexible Python code rather than requiring rigid DAG-based structures, Prefect is designed to make data pipeline development and recovery more adaptable. The company offers both cloud and open-source solutions for building and operating reliable workflows.
