Mid-Senior Payroll Consultant – Prague Hybrid

Support payroll transformation projects from discovery and solution design through testing, deployment, and operational handover. D-ploy GmbH provides IT and engineering services for international markets.

Description

  • Contribute to payroll discovery sessions and requirements workshops.
  • Capture existing processes and convert business needs into precise, testable functional requirements.
  • Document end-to-end workflows and conduct fit-gap assessments covering risks, dependencies, controls, and potential solutions.
  • Represent Payroll during solution design and verify that proposed processes and configurations satisfy business and control requirements.
  • Assist with data mapping, migration, validation, reconciliations, and integrations spanning HR, time management, benefits, Finance, and banking.
  • Create and assess test scenarios, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support integration, user acceptance, end-to-end, and parallel payroll testing, including defect triage, retesting, and sign-off preparation.
  • Track functional actions, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables with internal teams and external partners.
  • Help coordinate cutover, operational readiness, go-live, hypercare, stabilization, documentation, and knowledge transfer to payroll operations.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Payroll Functional Consultant, Payroll Business Analyst, payroll subject-matter expert, or in a similar transformation position.
  • Hands-on knowledge of complete payroll processes, data flows, integrations, controls, and reconciliations.
  • Background supporting payroll implementations, transformation programs, system migrations, or vendor transitions.
  • Proven experience with requirements analysis, process mapping, fit-gap assessment, testing, and defect management.
  • Ability to express payroll requirements as clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and project-coordination abilities.
  • Effective collaborator across Payroll, HR/P&O, Finance, IT, project teams, and external partners.
  • A criminal record extract issued within the previous three months must be declared.
