Key Account Manager, Industrial Development – Massachusetts Remote

Lead strategic account growth for Stäubli’s industrial connectors, robotics, and automation solutions. Manage customer relationships across the Northeast U.S. with extensive travel.

Description

  • Create and deliver strategic plans for growing key accounts
  • Win and expand major accounts across the region
  • Engage engineering, operations, procurement, and executive decision-makers
  • Generate new business across targeted industries
  • Assess customer applications and match them with suitable solutions
  • Qualify strategic opportunities and guide them through the sales process
  • Negotiate commercial terms and customer agreements
  • Partner with engineering, product management, and customer service
  • Represent Stäubli at customer locations, trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Contribute to national account growth programs when needed
  • Report to the Head of Sales – Industrial – North America

Requirements

  • At least five years of successful experience in field sales, key account management, or business development
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and win strategic customer relationships
  • Strong consultative sales and relationship-management capabilities
  • Experience navigating complex customer organizations and extended sales cycles
  • Clear communication skills for technical, operational, and executive audiences
  • Working familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and CRM platforms
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively by car and air throughout the assigned territory
  • Capacity to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods at customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and other business events
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport product samples, sales materials, and trade show materials weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Based in the Northeast U.S. region
  • Authorization to conduct business travel in both the United States and Canada
  • Valid passport with no travel restrictions
