Assistant Vice President, Patient Contact Center Operations

Lead patient contact center operations for Advocate Aurora Health, coordinating centralized services, practice operations, resource management, and quality improvement across a large health system.

Description

  • Support the development and management of centralized services
  • Partner with practices, physicians, executives, and system teams on improvement strategies
  • Provide leadership and direction to support organizational goals
  • Assist with centralized implementation, tracking, and reporting
  • Execute strategy while building productive stakeholder relationships through clear, diplomatic communication
  • Support strategic Medical Group programs and daily contact center operations
  • Analyze data, resolve problems and conflicts, manage relationships, and improve processes
  • Recommend evidence-based solutions and actions that advance quality improvement
  • Coordinate operations and resource management across multiple locations
  • Manage people and physical resources to improve efficiency and performance
  • Communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders to foster transparency, trust, and reliability
  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple practices through on-site practice managers
  • Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate clinical and operational activities to support high-quality, cost-effective care

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 10 years of effective group practice or operational management experience
  • Experience in an integrated delivery system is highly desirable
  • MBA, MHA, or another relevant graduate degree preferred
  • Knowledge of financial management, telephony systems and reporting, customer relationship management, human resources, governance, organizational dynamics, planning and marketing, information management, risk management, and business and clinical operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift and move reports and notebooks weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Proficiency with computers, a 10-key calculator, and telephone systems
