Accounts Payable Specialist – Arizona Remote

US Foods is hiring a remote Accounts Payable Specialist to manage invoices, payments, reconciliations, audits, and vendor inquiries. The role is open across the U.S., excluding Hawaii and U.S. territories.

Description

  • Follow accounts payable procedures to support audit compliance and operational continuity
  • Handle priority requests, ERP invoice uploads, summary billing, consolidated vendor invoices, and purchase-order-based IT invoices
  • Coordinate the twice-daily release of checks
  • Investigate and resolve vendor disputes
  • Process check stops and voids while researching potential fraudulent activity
  • Manage shared inboxes and respond to invoice and account inquiries
  • Assist managed-services partners and troubleshoot processing issues
  • Complete quality audits as needed
  • Reconcile statements for critical vendors
  • Provide backup support for lead-level responsibilities
  • Complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, markets, departments, and vendors

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in accounts payable or a related financial operations position
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least one year of practical Excel experience for data management and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies accurately and carefully
  • Comfort working across multiple computer screens
  • Experience with OCR and ERP systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
