Solutions Architect, Cloud Infrastructure (UK Remote)
Guide technical sales of Virtuozzo cloud infrastructure software for UK customers and partners. Lead discovery, architecture design, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept work.
विवरण
- Advise prospects, customers, and partners on technical matters throughout the sales cycle
- Work with the Territory Manager on account plans, opportunity progress, and technical obstacles to purchase
- Run discovery sessions to understand infrastructure, workloads, operating models, commercial priorities, and decision criteria
- Design and present architectures using Virtuozzo’s cloud infrastructure platform
- Turn customer needs into technical proposals and explain their operational and commercial value
- Lead product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, trials, and proof-of-concept engagements
- Work with stakeholders from infrastructure teams to CTOs and business leaders
- Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Answer technical questions about architecture, deployment, integration, performance, security, scalability, and migration
- Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services to validate solutions and relay customer needs
- Share customer and market insights to inform product positioning and roadmap discussions
- Help transition successful opportunities to implementation, onboarding, and customer support teams
- Develop sales documentation, reference architectures, competitive materials, and internal enablement resources
- Keep current on Virtuozzo products, competitors, and relevant cloud infrastructure technologies
आवश्यकताएँ
- Substantial experience in sales engineering, presales consulting, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Experience supporting complex B2B software or infrastructure sales
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, Linux, or related technologies
- Understanding of modern infrastructure architectures, deployment approaches, configuration, integration, and performance
- Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, workshops, trials, or proof-of-concept projects
- Ability to shape business and operational needs into sound technical solutions and explain complex technology in commercial terms
- Strong consulting, presentation, and stakeholder-management abilities
- Comfort working with technical specialists and senior decision-makers
- Customer-oriented and commercially aware, with the ability to influence complex purchasing decisions
- Able to work independently and stay closely aligned with the Territory Manager and wider sales team
- Fluent in English
- Professional fluency in French or German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer and partner meetings, industry events, and internal meetings
- Experience with cloud or managed service providers, hosting or telecommunications companies, or infrastructure software vendors is an advantage
- Knowledge of private, hybrid, sovereign, or multitenant cloud environments is an advantage
- Familiarity with KVM, VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, software-defined storage, and infrastructure automation is an advantage
- Experience with channel, partner-led, or service-provider go-to-market models is an advantage
- Experience with customer onboarding or technical project coordination is an advantage
