Senior Bookkeeper and Accounts Officer (Part-Time, Remote Philippines)
Part-time remote role for a senior bookkeeper supporting BAS, full-cycle accounting, collections, reconciliations, budgeting, and cash-flow forecasting for an Australian safety-systems supplier. Work 20 hours weekly during AEST/AEDT business hours.

- Issue accurate customer invoices on schedule
- Track receivables and pursue overdue payments by phone and email
- Agree payment plans and escalate legitimate disputes
- Apply receipts and keep customer account records up to date
- Process supplier invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain the general ledger and bookkeeping records
- Prepare BAS and coordinate with the external accountant or tax agent
- Apply the correct GST treatment to transactions
- Keep financial records complete and ready for audit
- Prepare and update cash-flow forecasts
- Develop budgets and compare actual results with budgeted performance
- Identify emerging cash-flow and budget risks
- Manage daily finance operations, including reconciliations, collections, and reporting
- Keep Brad and Matt informed about financial results
- Seek clarification on unclear instructions or figures instead of making assumptions
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least 5 years of hands-on, full-cycle bookkeeping or accounts experience covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and BAS preparation
- A record of preparing BAS accurately and meeting submission deadlines
- Experience calling clients proactively to recover overdue payments
- Experience creating cash-flow forecasts and/or budgets and reporting actual results against them
- Proficiency with Xero or a comparable cloud accounting platform such as MYOB
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet recurring compliance deadlines consistently
- Strong self-management and the discipline to work without prompting
- Professional, confident communication skills and comfort discussing financial matters with clients
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with limited supervision
- Availability for 20 hours per week during AEST/AEDT business hours
