  • Support the General Manager by carrying out operational direction and delegated responsibilities.
  • Coordinate Air Culinaire activities, job functions, and day-to-day operational work.
  • Raise market performance and efficiency standards while advancing company goals.
  • Deliver strong service to internal and external customers and build client loyalty.
  • Train and develop operations staff and recruit local talent.
  • Ensure teams follow standard operating procedures and company policies.
  • Oversee operating methods, systems, activities, and client-facing products and services.
  • Support global business functions and meet client and market performance expectations.
  • Maintain kitchen standards for systems use, compliance, product specifications, accuracy, training, and culinary expertise.
  • Help develop new revenue streams and aviation catering accounts.
  • Supervise staff and maintain the quality and accuracy of food and concierge services.
  • Help deliver culinary events, coordinate regional menus, train staff, and approve payroll.
  • Assist with payroll and labor processes, scheduling, performance reviews, hiring, discipline, training, and related records.
  • Support kitchen financial results within corporate guidelines and budgets.
  • Maintain food safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery standards.
  • Use Shipday to coordinate catering orders, deliveries, delivery photos, and recipient details.
  • Help record inventory, purchase supplies locally, and receive goods.
  • Oversee cleaning and maintenance of company assets and arrange repairs, contracts, and services.
  • Investigate and resolve food and service complaints.
  • Maintain market health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Put corporate policies and procedures into practice and enforce them.
  • Support Sales and Marketing efforts and maintain local client relationships.
  • Apply Air Culinaire’s Standard Operating Procedure as the primary operations guide.
  • Submit personnel timesheets as needed for payroll.
  • Assist with weekly company and personal expense reports.
  • Audit monthly vehicle maintenance logs and related costs.
  • Help ensure weekly accounts payable reports are accurate and review those reports.
  • Support monthly kitchen and locker product inventories.
  • Supervise local employees in accordance with the Air Chef Employee Handbook.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the General Manager.
  • Coordinate Air Culinaire activities, job functions, and day-to-day operational work. Support achievement of company mission and operational goals.
  • Deliver strong service to internal and external customers and build client loyalty.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business and culinary arts, or equivalent successful executive chef or hospitality management experience, is required.
  • Experience managing employees and client relationships in a business setting.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Three to five years of experience in high-end food service.
  • A background in aviation or hospitality services is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain a strong team environment.
  • Ability to ensure employees receive appropriate training, manageable workloads, and necessary resources.
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of Department of Health regulations.
  • Ability to schedule and manage labor and food costs within a budget.
  • Ability to manage fulfillment teams and processes, a vehicle fleet, off-site employees, and related expenses.
  • Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain FAA on-ramp security clearance.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Availability for frequent travel.
  • Ability to travel under the current Air Culinaire Travel Policy.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Multilingual skills are preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and understand written, spoken, or diagram-based instructions.
  • Ability to sit, speak, hear, use hands, reach, carry with hands and arms, and lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Must complete a pre-employment background check, drug test, motor vehicle record check if applicable, and E-Verify.
