Tavsif

  • Develop, review, and recommend clear, user-focused English UX copy for the PayPay app
  • Produce concise English microcopy that aligns with established voice, tone, and writing standards
  • Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, stakeholders, and UX writers to strengthen interface copy and user journeys
  • Help maintain cross-product consistency by refining and expanding UX writing guidelines
  • Find ways to improve UX writing workflows and processes, including the use of AI
  • Collaborate with fellow UX writers under the guidance of the UX Writing Team Lead and Manager
  • Contribute to varied product features while building broad knowledge of the PayPay platform

Talablar

  • Native-level English ability and the judgment to produce clear, natural copy
  • Strong written and spoken Japanese skills for discussing detailed and nuanced topics with colleagues
  • At least 3 years of Japanese-to-English translation, 2 years of Japanese-to-English localization, or 2 years of English UX or content writing experience
  • Basic familiarity with websites and mobile applications, preferably across iOS and Android
  • Working knowledge of user flows and UI design is preferred
