Tavsif

  • Expand technical advocacy for HPE storage solutions throughout the partner ecosystem
  • Act as a trusted technical consultant for channel partners
  • Help partners position, design, and deliver HPE storage and data protection solutions
  • Strengthen partner capabilities through enablement sessions, workshops, whiteboarding, and hands-on labs
  • Find and develop technical champions within partner organizations
  • Help partners advance through HPE certifications and program requirements
  • Represent HPE at partner events, technology days, and customer briefings
  • Evaluate the technical needs of partners and end customers alongside their existing IT environments
  • Convert requirements into solution architectures, alternatives, and gap analyses
  • Present and demonstrate HPE capabilities in relation to business outcomes
  • Assist with solution configurations and proof-of-concept activities
  • Create competitive strategies in collaboration with partners
  • Generate, qualify, and advance storage opportunities with HPE account teams and channel managers
  • Promote technology adoption, upgrades, and refreshes across the installed base
  • Keep partner pipeline records accurate and up to date
  • Support an effective transition from sale to implementation and identify training requirements

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least five years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner
  • Extensive hands-on experience pitching, demonstrating, and architecting complex storage solutions
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware or KVM-based environments
  • Knowledge of at least two application platforms, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP
  • Practical experience with at least one leading public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Expertise in block, file, backup, ransomware protection, and related data lifecycle solutions
  • Strong competitive knowledge of at least one major storage vendor
  • Thorough understanding of channel partner business models and offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, collaborate with, and technically enable partners throughout the sales cycle
  • Excellent consultative selling, written communication, and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong awareness of storage industry trends, competitor products, and competitive strategies
  • Strong business and financial judgment
  • Effective project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales tools
  • Ability to live in the greater Chicagoland area
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time to partner and customer sites
