Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer, Workforce Management — Canada Remote
Join Miratech to build Java, React, and cloud-native workforce management software for telecom and contact center operations. The role covers forecasting, scheduling, adherence, and operational reporting solutions.
Descriere
- Develop workforce management solutions for telecom and contact center operations, spanning forecasting, staffing, scheduling, real-time adherence, intraday management, and reporting.
- Create and support scalable Java and Spring Boot backend services using domain-driven design.
- Develop microservices for forecasting, staffing calculations, schedules, shifts, adherence, exceptions, and reporting.
- Build responsive workforce applications with TypeScript and React.
- Design and integrate REST services using an API-first development model.
- Maintain OpenAPI and Swagger contracts, including API versioning standards.
- Implement event-driven workflows for schedule updates, agent states, queue metrics, forecasts, and adherence events.
- Connect workforce management capabilities with CX, ACD, routing, HR, payroll, identity, and enterprise data platforms.
- Design workforce and operational data models in PostgreSQL and other relational databases.
- Containerize services and support cloud-native deployment, configuration, and environment consistency.
- Maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, quality gates, and repeatable deployments.
- Investigate production issues and improve performance, batch processing, concurrency, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to reviews, technical designs, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
- Work with Product, Operations Research, QA, DevOps, UX, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into deliverable software.
Cerințe
- At least 8 years of full-stack software development experience, including ownership of production applications.
- Advanced practical experience with Java and Spring, especially Spring Boot, REST services, security, and persistence.
- Strong frontend development background with Angular or React, TypeScript, component-based design, state management, and modern testing.
- Working knowledge of Node.js for integrations, lightweight services, build tooling, or supporting components.
- Experience with NICE WFM, Verint, Calabrio, Genesys WFM, Aspect/Alvaria, or a comparable workforce management platform.
- AWS and Amazon Connect experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven services in distributed systems.
- Strong SQL capabilities and experience creating efficient PostgreSQL or comparable relational data models.
- Background developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear technical writing and the ability to lead client workshops.
- Experience connecting workforce management systems with ACD, routing, HR, payroll, CRM, or data warehouse platforms is advantageous.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging and event-streaming systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of workforce analytics, optimization methods, or operational research concepts is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tools, and secure software delivery is advantageous.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools or building AI-enabled solutions, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus.
