Descriere

  • Identify and advance strategic growth opportunities across the U.S. National Security market, with a focus on the Intelligence Community and classified federal programs.
  • Direct business development efforts for designated National Security and Intelligence Community accounts ahead of formal RFP issuance.
  • Create and implement multi-year account strategies based on agency missions, modernization priorities, IT funding, and acquisition forecasts.
  • Build and sustain relationships with government mission leaders, CIOs, CTOs, program managers, and acquisition officials.
  • Track programs of record, mission shortfalls, funding priorities, contract vehicles, recompetes, and procurement developments.
  • Convert National Security mission needs into technology initiatives involving cybersecurity, enterprise analytics, AI/ML operations, observability, digital resilience, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead early capture planning through stakeholder mapping, competitive assessment, win-theme development, teaming strategy, and technical solution alignment.
  • Work with Federal System Integrators, defense prime contractors, and channel partners on joint pursuits and proposal teams.
  • Maintain a qualified strategic pipeline and brief sales leadership on opportunity maturity, procurement timing, competitive standing, and win likelihood.
  • Coordinate with capture, proposal, legal, and engineering teams on priority government pursuits.
  • Prepare executive briefings, market analyses, capture plans, and business cases.
  • Use GovWin, SAM.gov, approved market research resources, procurement databases, and analytics platforms to inform market and competitive analysis.
  • Represent Cisco and Splunk at National Security conferences, agency industry days, technology symposia, and partner events.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, national security studies, engineering, or a related field with 8 years of relevant professional experience; alternatively, a related master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Twelve years of relevant federal business development or capture management experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and an active background investigation at the time of application.
  • At least 8 years of direct experience in U.S. Federal business development, capture management, technical sales, solutions architecture, or mission consulting for the U.S. Intelligence Community or National Security agencies.
  • Experience creating and executing early capture strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and pipeline qualification processes for U.S. Federal technology programs.
  • Experience working with Tier-1 Federal System Integrators and defense prime contractors on joint pursuits and teaming arrangements.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community agencies including NSA, NGA, CIA, NRO, DIA, or ODNI.
  • Experience supporting multi-year federal programs or strategic captures exceeding $25 million.
  • Expertise in enterprise cybersecurity, SIEM, observability, log analytics, zero trust, or AI/ML technologies within classified government architectures.
  • Experience negotiating teaming agreements, work-share arrangements, and subcontracting structures.
  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition vehicles such as IDIQs, GWACs, NASA SEWP, GSA MAS, CIO-SP3/4, Alliant 2, and OTAs.
  • Experience preparing executive white papers, capture plans, and technical value propositions for SES, GO/FO, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Top Secret clearance with CI, Full Scope, or Lifestyle Polygraph preferred.
