Descriere
- Plan warehouse operations to meet performance goals and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Track client volumes and ensure operations meet contractual commitments.
- Guide day-to-day operations as a subject matter expert and help supervisors resolve issues.
- Coordinate between operations, clients, and site management.
- Meet delivery deadlines and quality targets.
- Lead supervisors and allocate their responsibilities.
- Improve operational systems and processes, including reporting, information flow, business processes, and organizational planning.
- Update the Senior Manager each day on progress and issues requiring attention.
- Prepare forecasts and workforce plans.
- Address individual and team performance concerns in line with DSV policies and procedures.
- Set performance expectations, provide timely feedback, and support team development.
- Hold team members to agreed performance standards.
- Build strong client relationships through high-quality customer service.
- Coach and advise supervisors and the wider team.
- Resolve operational matters directly with clients and deliver presentations as needed.
- Report operational issues clearly and promptly to senior management.
Cerințe
- Post-secondary education is required; equivalent experience and education may be considered.
- At least five years of leadership experience in logistics or third-party logistics.
- Experience managing multiple clients is an asset.
- Ability to analyze warehouse operations and plan for strong performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to monitor client volumes and maintain compliance with contractual commitments.
- Ability to lead supervisors and allocate supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience with forecasting and workforce planning.
- Ability to address individual and team performance issues in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to set performance standards, give timely feedback, and develop teams.
- Strong client communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with clients and provide direct operational support.
