Enhance GHGSAT data processing with machine learning and physics-based methods.
Build, train, and refine models for image classification, object detection, and segmentation.
Prototype approaches drawn from scientific research.
Explore data to uncover useful predictive features and analytical opportunities.
Work with domain experts, data validators, and other stakeholders to strengthen methods and model performance.
Partner with software developers to bring models and algorithms into production.
Use computer vision and machine learning to automate processing of greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring data.

Reikalavimai

Hold a master’s degree or higher in physics, engineering, theoretical chemistry or biology, mathematics, computational science, or a related discipline.
Demonstrate strong Python skills.
Be able to document and summarize key findings.
Bring strong problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail.
Know probability and statistics.
Have experience in image processing and computer vision.
Have applied machine learning to complex, real-world data.
Use Python machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn proficiently.
Have experience working with remote sensing data.
Have experience with collaborative software development using Git.
Have experience using and creating Docker images.
Be legally authorized to work in Canada and meet Canada’s Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements.
