Data Scientist, Computer Vision and Machine Learning
Apply computer vision and machine learning to GHGSAT satellite data, automating the processing of greenhouse gas emissions measurements. Develop and deploy models for detection, measurement, and monitoring.

- Build, train, and refine models for image classification, object detection, and segmentation.

- Hold a master’s degree or higher in physics, engineering, theoretical chemistry or biology, mathematics, computational science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong Python skills.
- Be able to document and summarize key findings.
- Bring strong problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail.
- Know probability and statistics.
- Have experience in image processing and computer vision.
- Have applied machine learning to complex, real-world data.
- Use Python machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn proficiently.
- Have experience working with remote sensing data.
- Have experience with collaborative software development using Git.
- Have experience using and creating Docker images.
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada and meet Canada’s Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements.
