Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams and junior managers
  • Maintain compliance with Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional release requirements
  • Partner with architects and senior engineers on technical direction and application migration plans
  • Provide technical representation for the product in cross-functional planning and collaboration
  • Remove technology obstacles across coding, build, and deployment processes
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle and applicable security standards
  • Support scrum masters and engineering teams as an escalation partner by removing impediments and driving continuous improvement
  • Develop hands-on engineering capability within the team’s codebase
  • Perform peer reviews and provide guidance on solution design
  • Safeguard security, stability, and scalability while reducing technology and enterprise risks
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners on user satisfaction, requirements, priorities, and product roadmaps
  • Encourage innovative solutions and champion agile and DevOps ways of working
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology service providers
  • Oversee personnel and financial resources, career growth, and performance management
  • Recruit, mentor, and support direct reports and broader talent development

Requirements

  • At least five years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience gained through work, training, military service, or education
  • At least three years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success improving engineering excellence, modernizing environments, and delivering meaningful business results
  • Experience leading a network automation team
  • Technical leadership experience spanning software engineering and network automation
  • Experience with network automation platforms such as Nautobot is highly valued
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop engineering teams and junior managers
  • Understanding of Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional requirements
  • Ability to shape technical strategies and next-generation domain architecture, including cloud readiness, application modernization, and data strategy
  • Ability to address coding, build, deployment, software development lifecycle, and security standards
  • Knowledge of security, stability, scalability, technology risk, and enterprise risk management
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps practices
  • Ability to work with third-party vendors and technology service providers
  • Visa sponsorships and visa transfers are not available
