Senior Hardware Recruiter
Lead full-cycle hiring for specialized silicon and ASIC engineering roles at Normal Computing. Recruit across applied AI, semiconductor hardware, and AI infrastructure.
Description
- Lead full-cycle hiring for senior hardware, ASIC, and silicon architecture roles, from intake to offer close
- Adapt to AI, silicon software, and other technical searches as hiring priorities change
- Source and engage specialists in silicon architecture, design verification, and systems architecture
- Work with engineering hiring managers to define candidate qualifications, technical standards, and evaluation alignment
- Apply the WHO Method to calibrate talent
- Keep interview processes efficient, with no more than four to five rounds
- Maintain accurate candidate records and active pipelines in Ashby
- Deliver dependable recruiting reports
- Represent Normal Computing at industry events, including DAC
- Recruit for Normal Computing, an applied AI company developing foundational hardware and software for the semiconductor industry and AI infrastructure
Requirements
- At least six years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
- Direct experience recruiting AI, ASIC, silicon, or semiconductor engineers, including RTL, design verification, physical design, architecture, or related roles
- A record of closing senior engineers who have competing offers
- Technical understanding of AI silicon and custom ASIC development
- Advanced proficiency with Ashby or a comparable applicant tracking system for candidate tracking, reporting, and process automation
- Strong operational skills and comfort working amid ambiguity and startup growth
- AI/ML and software engineering recruiting experience is a plus
- Recruiting experience in unconventional computing or physics-based hardware architectures is a plus
- Prior experience at a high-growth venture-backed startup, semiconductor company, or research lab is a plus
