Senior Credit Analytics Business Analyst - Argentina Remote

Jeeves is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to strengthen credit analytics, risk modeling, and automated decisioning for its corporate cards, payments, and spend management platform. The role supports portfolio monitoring, credit policy, and data-driven strategies across Latin America.

Description

  • Integrate and validate external data sources, including credit bureau, banking, open finance, tax, and financial data.
  • Improve customer consent and connection records to support reliable, compliant data access and refreshes.
  • Convert manual credit and portfolio processes into repeatable, documented SQL and Python workflows.
  • Establish data quality controls and maintain clear supporting documentation.
  • Create and refine underwriting standards and credit limit strategies using internal and external data.
  • Develop customer management approaches for credit line increases, decreases, and reinstatements.
  • Detect high-risk customers and develop processes to reduce potential losses.
  • Work with Sales and Business Development to connect growth plans with credit policy.
  • Set portfolio KPIs and create dashboards for portfolio health and strategy performance.
  • Develop early-warning indicators and monitoring routines for accounts showing deterioration.
  • Give Collections segmentation and prioritization insights to guide recovery efforts.
  • Support loss projections and risk-adjusted return analysis in partnership with Finance.
  • Use statistical techniques including logistic regression, segmentation, and clustering.
  • Build, validate, and monitor credit risk models.
  • Define automated credit decisioning rules and data requirements with Product and Engineering.
  • Turn model findings into practical recommendations for credit leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Use AI tools in analysis, validate their outputs against source data, and improve analytical workflows.
  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, product, collections, and sales as an individual contributor without people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Three to seven years of analytics experience in credit risk, including hands-on commercial or SMB credit work in cards, payments, lending, or a related sector.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including querying large, untidy datasets and checking data quality.
  • Working proficiency in Python for analysis and statistical modeling, including regression, segmentation, and clustering.
  • Experience with version control tools such as GitHub is advantageous.
  • Capacity to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience with external or alternative data sources, preferably including their integration or cleanup.
  • Experience applying AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to analytical work.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn analysis into implemented credit policy or strategy changes with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Availability for substantial overlap with Latin American business hours.
  • Knowledge of Latin American credit data and open finance ecosystems is preferred.
  • Experience implementing, validating, or monitoring risk and scoring models with data science teams is preferred.
  • Experience supporting collections strategies or early-warning programs is preferred.
  • Experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Metabase, or Claude Visualization Tools is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup or fintech environment is preferred.
