Office Administrator - Kent, WA (Onsite)

Manage administrative, financial, compliance, and office operations for Bergelectric’s regional electrical contracting team in Kent.

Description

  • Research information, collect data, and prepare reports for regional staff
  • Support Project Management with purchase orders, change orders, financial reporting, safety records, filing, preliminary notices, lien releases, billing, collections, and project setup
  • Complete daily and weekly timekeeping for field personnel
  • Support corporate Accounts Payable/Receivable, Credit and Collections, Payroll, and other support teams
  • Help ensure company activities comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Review and audit information and data to identify and resolve issues
  • Guide others in identifying and addressing problems
  • Complete research, analysis, and data-collection projects
  • Compile statistics, data, and supporting materials for reports and projects
  • Develop, implement, and monitor procedures and controls
  • Assess operations and report findings to the Regional Manager
  • Obtain and maintain city business licenses, state licenses, and unemployment accounts
  • Administer company credit cards
  • Coordinate hotel and rental-car arrangements for management and field personnel
  • Track and monitor credit card activity
  • Monitor office attendance and time-off requests
  • Plan and coordinate company events
  • Represent the company at industry events

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience as an Office Assistant or Administrator reporting directly to senior management
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn firm-specific programs and software
  • Proficiency in collaboration and delegating responsibilities
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, credit and collections, and payroll
  • Experience supervising employees
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand while performing administrative duties
