Lifecycle Solutions Business Development Manager - Chicago Hybrid

Lead growth of CDW DeviceCycle lifecycle solutions aligned with AIG warranty programs. Drive partnerships, proposals, customer adoption, and cross-functional program development for technology device services.

Description

  • Create and deliver business development strategies for CDW DeviceCycle programs aligned with AIG
  • Expand program growth, adoption, and reach across priority customer segments and sales channels
  • Collaborate with CDW sales, Lifecycle Services, OEM, AIG, and operations teams to advance programs and address business needs
  • Source, assess, and develop DeviceCycle opportunities that address customer lifecycle challenges
  • Manage opportunity pipelines through qualification, solution positioning, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Lead or contribute to customer meetings, presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and proposal creation
  • Establish program requirements, pricing inputs, operating workflows, support models, and launch materials
  • Develop field enablement, training, messaging, and best-practice content
  • Track market, customer, and competitor developments and recommend program improvements
  • Share market trends and client or prospect insights with AIG leadership and operations to inform product development and pricing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least five years of experience in the technology market
  • Strong knowledge of device lifecycle services, including repair, warranty, accidental damage protection, spare-device continuity, deployment, refresh, recovery, and disposition programs
  • Ability to support, position, and expand DeviceCycle or comparable lifecycle service programs across sales channels, customer segments, and partner ecosystems
  • Experience finding, assessing, and developing program opportunities that address customer device-management challenges
  • Ability to work with sales, Lifecycle Services, OEM, AIG, operations, finance, legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong business development capabilities, including pipeline development, opportunity qualification, forecasting, and value-based messaging
  • Excellent presentation, written communication, and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to use discretion and protect confidential information
  • Self-directed and results-focused, with the ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Energetic and collaborative team member
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations or client sites
  • Ability to understand, retain, and apply verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-touch, high-volume environment
  • Experience with device lifecycle services, warranty, accidental damage protection, repair, or related technology service programs preferred
  • Demonstrated success developing, launching, or growing technology services programs preferred
  • Previous business development experience preferred
