Inside Auto Claims Adjuster - United States Remote

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve auto insurance claims for Allstate in a remote role. Communicate with claimants and other parties, assess liability and damages, conduct recorded statements, and document claim decisions.

Description

  • Review basic and occasional moderately complex auto insurance claims
  • Manage claims involving non-represented parties
  • Assess coverage, establish liability, and negotiate settlements
  • Communicate directly with claimants, insured individuals, and other involved parties
  • Follow regulatory obligations and Allstate standards throughout the claims process
  • Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and prepare clear claim summaries
  • Obtain recorded statements from claimants, insured individuals, and witnesses
  • Assess coverage, liability, and resulting damages
  • Negotiate and resolve claims within established guidelines and accepted practices
  • Keep comprehensive claim files, notes, summaries, and decision rationales
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver efficient, customer-focused claim handling

Requirements

  • Live in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, Montana, or Utah when hired
  • At least two years of prior claims-handling experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication, with a strong customer-service focus
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • High attention to detail combined with sound critical-thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to use technology and learn claims management software and tools
  • Obtain all required adjuster licenses within 60 days of starting
  • Keep required licenses current and complete continuing education and state renewal obligations
  • Maintain a dedicated private workspace without distractions
  • Have minimum internet speeds of 50 MB downstream and 5 MB upstream
  • Use a suitable work surface and chair
  • Complete a required background investigation
  • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this role
