Description

  • Support four HR operations areas: Advisory and Engagement, Complex Case Management, Operational Excellence, and Strategic Collaboration
  • Assist employees and managers through calls, chats, and cases in a contact center setting
  • Assess employee and manager needs and explain company policies and self-service options
  • Help resolve complex employee concerns
  • Research HR matters while handling sensitive information with sound professional judgment
  • Contribute to process recommendations and operational improvement initiatives
  • Help enhance the employee experience and improve operational and service delivery workflows
  • Partner with U.S. People Services teams to provide a consistent stakeholder experience
  • Use insights to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement

Requirements

  • A university degree or equivalent experience is typically required
  • Professional experience demonstrating problem-solving and customer-focused service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship from the company
  • Prior experience in human resources or a customer-facing service environment
  • Knowledge of HR policies or a specialty such as compensation, benefits, payroll, talent management, or employee relations
  • Experience supporting internal or external customers by phone or chat in a contact center environment
  • Experience using HR platforms such as Workday or ServiceNow
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including empathy and supportive guidance
  • Careful attention to detail and effective organization when managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Residence within commuting distance of Farmington, Connecticut, or Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • No security clearance is required
